Tethytos is ruled as a Thalassocracy, where power is derived from one’s fleet strength. The current Grand Admiral is Kyra Valtis, who sits atop the Merchant Council.
Tethytos was founded by the worshippers of Tethym after Myrelion’s disappearance. A naval powerhouse, it commands the seas through trade, war, and divine purpose. Its fleets protect merchants, repel pirates, and battle the horrors of the deep – krakens and other abyssal beasts that rise from the depths to challenge its dominion.
Shipyards in Tethytos craft war galleys blessed by Tethym, and harpoon-wielding warriors stand ready to defend both surface and sea. To its people, the ocean is their battleground and their sanctuary, a force to be mastered, not feared.
