Myth of Creation
Before time began, before the stars had names, there was the ether – a boundless expanse of raw, formless energy. From its endless depths, Aurys and Nelthares emerged – willed into existence by creation itself. Together, they stirred the ether, shaping the first echoes of existence.
Together, they wove Thauriga into being, forging a world where both order and change could thrive. Aurys shaped the firmament, the seas, the laws of the world, binding existence into form. Nelthares raised mountains and cracked the land into valleys and islands, moved dunes of sand and breathed wind across the plains, ensuring creation could never stagnate.
Yet, they could not govern alone. To guide mortals and keep balance, Aurys breathed life into the gods of wisdom, crafts, and fate, while Nelthares set motion to forces of nature, change, and ambition. Together, they raised Álym, the Kingdom of the Gods, ensuring the divine pantheon’s will could each Thauriga from its clouds above. They shaped Dásos, a sanctuary for untamed magic and wild forces of nature. Finally, Elysia, the resting place of mortal souls.
